Whether you've always wanted to fly or if you want a special gift for someone, our flights are designed to give a hands on experience at the controls of modern light sports aircraft with the reassurance of a trained instructor alongside with a full set of controls.

The lucky Pilot for the day will enjoy views flying over Aucklands stunning Coastlines and a real sense of achievement as they start to master some of the basics of flying.

Flight Experience Options:

'Introduction to Flight' $149

We start with a pre-flight briefing discussing the basics of the controls and pretty soon you find yourself in the pilots seat. Your hands are on the controls getting a feel for things while your instructor taxis the aircraft, makes radio calls, lines up on the runway and applies power. Your instructor will guide the aircraft into the air and soon on the climb out youll hear the words "You have control." From here on your instructor will take you through the basics of climbing, descending and turning the aircraft while taking in the scenery of Woodhill Forrest and Muriwai Beach. After some fun experimenting, your instructor will step in again and bring the aircraft back onto the ground.

Aircraft Time is approximately 25 minutes and the whole experience will take about 40 minutes.

West Coast Beaches $249

Our training area is right on the doorstep of Auckland's stunning West Coast Beaches and without a doubt one of the best ways to see them (and much of New Zealands amazing coastline) is from the air. Let us show you this unique perspective that is the reason why we love to fly. Your experience will begin like our 'Introduction to Flight' but will head off on a different path after you're shown the basics. We will climb out over Woodhill Forrest and then you will fly us straight and level on a course South down Muriwai beach past the Gannett Colony, Maori Bay, O'Neil's Beach, Bethells, Anawhata, Piha & finally Karekare before turning near the Manukau Heads to come back. Your instructor will be glad to take the controls at any time if you feel uncomfortable or so you can spend some time taking in the sights.

Aircraft Time is approximately 45 minutes covering a distance of around 80kms and the whole experience will take about 1 hour.

The Hauraki Gulf $349

Auckland is known as the City of Sails and the Hauraki Gulf is the reason. Seen from above it's a huge playground of small bays and islands, not to mention some awarding winning clifftop architecture. Just like the West Coast Beaches Experience we will begin like our 'Introduction to Flight' but diverge after the basic lesson. From the beaches of Whangaparoa to the vineyards of Waiheke and the high rises in the City, we'll cover a course that is just not possible any other way. You are encouraged to fly as much of the journey as possible yourself, but your flight instructor will be happy to take control at any time so you can take in the sights and relax a bit, too.

Flight Duration is approximately 1 hour 15 minutes covering a distance of around 140kms and the whole experience will take around 1 hour 30 minutes.
