Once you are a fully licensed pilot, you will want to continue flying and share the joys of flying with friends and family.
Purchasing your own aircraft is expensive and can be confusing. Which aircraft should you buy and what is a fair price? How can you "test fly" planes? And what about that bargain you saw on Trademe?
Free yourself from all of those questions and most of the expense of aircraft ownership by renting one of our aircraft.
Our aircraft rental rates include fuel, maintenance, hangarage, insurance, and landing fees at Parakai Airfield are free if you are a member of the FlyWest Pilot's Club. You will find our rates to be very competitive within the Auckland market.
If you have not flown with Parakai Flying School before, you will need to produce your up-to-date Pilot's Log Book and undergo a "check flight" with one of our instructors to satisfy the terms of our insurance before you are allowed to rent one of our aircraft as Pilot in Command. Also, if you have not flown the same type of aircraft before, you will have to undergo a "type rating" whether or not you have flown with us in the past.
